About the Artist
I am a California-based artist whose work focuses on landscapes, coastal scenes, and meaningful moments captured through paint. Inspired by the landscapes of the American West, many of my paintings begin outdoors as plein air studies before developing into larger studio works. My work explores light, atmosphere, and the feeling of being in a place. From quiet coastal cliffs to expansive national parks, my paintings aim to preserve the experience of the landscape. Alongside my studio practice, I offer live wedding painting services, capturing special moments in real time and turning them into lasting works of art.
The Process
Many of my paintings begin outdoors, studying light and color directly from nature. These plein air studies often become the foundation for larger studio paintings. For weddings and special events, I paint live on location, capturing the atmosphere and key moments of the celebration while guests watch the artwork come to life throughout the event. Each painting I create aims to preserve a moment, place, or memory in a way that lasts.
